OEF - MSO

Je vais commencer par decrire (et mettre a jour) l'etat des forces en presence dans le nord de l'Ocean Indien.

Depuis le 11 septembre 2001, et suite a une serie de resolution de l'ONU, les forces americaines et alliees, sous l'egide de la Cinquieme Flotte (Vth Fleet, Bahreim), maintiennent un certain nombre de forces navales en support aux differentes operations en Afganistan et en Iraq, et pour le maintien de la securite des routes maritimes (sous le sigle anglophone SLOC - Sea Lanes of Communications).

J'avais commence cette recherche sur marine-forum il y a quelques mois, je vais faire son suivit et mise-a-jour ici, dorenavant.
